McMenamins Pool Reservations

Project A is excited to announce the launch of McMenamins Pool Reservations, a new website designed to streamline the process of booking a spot at McMenamins Kennedy School’s popular soaking pool. More locations will be added soon. The website, which can be accessed at https://pools.mcmenamins.com/, makes it easy for customers to book a time slot for themselves or their group.

McMenamins has a rich history of offering unique and memorable experiences at their various locations throughout the Pacific Northwest. One of the most popular attractions is their series of saltwater soaking pools, which are located at several of their properties. At Kennedy School, the pool is a ceramic work of art. This heated pool is located in a private outdoor courtyard surrounded by gardens.

Project A custom developed and designed the booking software to fit the complex reservation rules, based on times and the number of people allowed in the pool for one-hour sessions, but at half hour intervals. The software ensures that the reservation system is fair and efficient, providing a smooth booking process for customers and a custom area for staff use.

The McMenamins Pool Reservations website is user-friendly and easy to navigate, with a clear and concise design that highlights the necessary information. Customers can quickly check availability and make a reservation, with the ability to filter available time slots based on their group size and ages. Email and SMS notifications provide timely reminders and easy cancellation links. The website is optimized for mobile devices, ensuring that customers can book on-the-go and get real-time information about their reservation. Additional location selection will be coming soon.
